I am Teacher Edward. I am a certified English tutor and a licensed pharmacist. As a teacher, I always push students to do their best while at the same time, making learning interesting as well as creative. I am passionate towards teaching as well as towards learning. I love to teach different students regardless of their age, gender, interest, hobbies, and beliefs. I am an approachable and friendly person. I love singing, watching movies, and travelling. I had been teaching English for almost four years in different schools. This had given me the opportunity to share my knowledge with other people and it had moulded me to be an effective, efficient, and excellent teacher. I possess good communication skills and it is my great joy to share them with you. My previous students were Chinese and Vietnamese nationals. I help students prepare for international exams like IELTS, TOEFL, CET, etc. I also taught adults and helped them improve their English-speaking skills. I love children a lot, so I can teach them easily using creative materials. I have found TPR to be extremely effective and motivating for them. So, I try to use it as much as possible, and I also like using colourful pictures, videos, songs, and so on to try to keep my lessons fun for them since fun activities make them more engaged in the lesson. And I also ask my students to write down the new words and sentences they’ve learned so that they can practice and review them after the class. For intermediate and advanced students, I make sure that they can talk more by throwing effective follow-up questions. You will not memorize long lists of vocabulary; instead, you and I will discuss interesting topics and practice using the language that you want to use.
